Charity event in Moscow in aid to homeless families in Gyumri
Dolmama restaurant in Moscow is hosting a charity event this evening to help homeless families in Gyumri, the restaurant owner Jirair Avanian told A1+. He says the program “Gyumri without Domiks” is real. He added that they expect about 100 people to join the fund-raising campaign and the proceeds will be spent on the purchase of apartments for those who live in wagons and shacks in the second largest city. Mr Avanian reminded that the first donation was made at his restaurant on January 13 and two apartments were bought with the money. Recently, a charity dinner was held in Lugano, a city in southern Switzerland, with the same purpose.
