While diplomats and politicians make their message audible through words and statements, musicians do it with their art and wonderful musical performances, making the audience indulge in thoughts and contemplation. “A musician must be the bearer of universal values,” says prominent pianist Alexander Ghindin, Artistic Director of Musicians for Peace international project. He arrived in Armenia to perform at the concert dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The concert was organized by the Russian-Armenian Cooperation organization in collaboration with the Musicians for Peace project as part of event commemorating the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Through the concert, the organizers and participants condemn genocides and other crimes against humanity,” said Yuri Navoyan, Chairman of the Armenian-Russian Cooperation organization. The next concert is due to be held in Moscow in April.
