Detention term of Arayik Khandoyan’s brother extended
The precautionary measure, detention, of Ararat Khandoyan, brother of “Sasna Dzrer” armed group’s member Arayik Khandoyan, today has been extended for a month. Judge of the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts upheld the investigator’s mediation to extend the detention by a month. Advocate Ara Gharagyozyan told “A1+” that they had proposed bail, but the court refused it. “Ararat Khandoyan announced in the court that it is another political decision and he doesn’t hope that anything may happen,” noted the advocate. To remind, the preliminary investigation into the case of Ararat Khandoyan, who is charged with participation in mass disorders, is over and after confirming the indictment the case will be sent to the court.
