Pashinyan says Civil Contract Party will analyze reasons for defeat in local elections (video)
“We shall analyze the reasons for our defeat,” Nikol Pashinyan, a member of the Civil Contract Party Board, told journalists in the National Assembly on Tuesday. Speaking about the resignation of the party’s Board, Mr. Pashinyan said ‘it speaks to a healthy atmosphere inside the party: if a party suffers defeat in elections, it means a lot of questions need to be reviewed.’ “Election results are based on more than 90 percent of votes cast,” he said. The opposition did not have success in local elections because they did not consider this fact,” Pashinyan added.
