Why do Armenians prefer baby boys? (video)
Sex selective abortions in Armenia give rise to concerns. 113-114 baby boys are born in Armenia for every 100 baby girls, while the normal ratio is 102-106 boys for 100 girls. Organizations fighting against sex selective abortions do not achieve tangible results, especially in rural areas where preference is given to baby boys.
