Vahan Shirkhanyan wants to hold press conference in prison
Former Deputy Defense Minister Vahan Shirkhanyan wants to hold a press conference in the prison. His advocate Hayk Alumyan told “A1+” that he is engaged in the organizational activities of the press conference and it is possible that the press conference be organized by the end of the month. To remind, Vahan Shirkhanyan was detained on December 19, 2015, on suspicion of aiding a criminal gang led by Artur Vardanyan. Recently another charge has been levied against him under the article of preparation of usurpation of power. Vahan Shirkhanyan’s advocate, who visited him yesterday, alarms that his health condition is deteriorating day by day, “I has difficulty in walking, he takes some pills, but they don’t aid.”
