Student bus crash: Passengers mostly sustained concussions
Seven of the ten citizens, who were injured in a bus crash on Sevan-Yerevan highway in the early hours of Tuesday, have been discharged from hospital. Three of them have been taken to a hospital in Yerevan, Hasmik Sahakyan, a nurse on duty at the Hrazdan hospital, told A1+ Company. She says the passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries, concussions and scratches. She says the 18-year-old girl was already dead when she was transferred to their hospital. "She had sustained a brain injury and fractured her foot,” the nurse said. One person died and seven others were injured when a bus transporting students from Sevan to Yerevan crashed into another vehicle on Sevan-Yerevan highway earlier on Tuesday morning. All passengers are residents of Varser community in Gegharkunik marz. Hripsime Galstyan, the young girl who died in the crash, studied at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences.
