Thick fog in Meghri mountain pass

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies says it was snowing on the roads in Sisian, Goris and Meghry as of 12:30. Meghri mountain pass is buried in heavy fog, with visibility up to 80-100 m. Some sections of Gavar-Martuni, Martuni-Vardenis roadways and Vardenyats mountain pass are covered with black ice. Snow removal continues on the roads. The Ministry urges drivers to use winter tires to avoid accidents and traffic jams. Roads of interstate and republican significance are passable.
