“Kiraki” (Sunday) program touched upon preschool institutions in the regions within the frames of its November 6 issue. Preschool education isn’t mandatory in Armenia, but the experts claim that it is necessary for entering a primary school. During the recent 25 years the number of preschool institutions has halved. The program hosted Raisa Galstyan, Deputy Head of State Inspectorate of Education of Ministry of Science and Education, and Alvard Poghosyan, Head of Department of Education Programs of United Nations Children's Fund. Our colleagues from Sevan TV (Geghama holding) and Kapan’s Sosi TV prepared materials for the program.
