Tomorrow doctors to visit Hovhannes Harutyunyan (video)
Member of “Sasna Dzrer” group Hovhannes Harutyunyan will be under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. Deputy Minister Vahan Poghosyan promised the relatives, who visited the Ministry, to immediately send a specialist to the hospital for convicts. “Just today we will form a new professional group, which will be sent there. They will go and see what he needs, will see the tactics of treatment and will organize their work,” said the Deputy Minister. Tamara Harutyunyan, sister of Hovhannes Harutyunyan, has recently alarmed on the health condition of her brother. The sister claims that her brother needs immediate surgery, but the doctors postpone it for different reasons. “When I learnt the news on possibility of cutting his leg, I went crazy. When Hovhannes stands up, his legs are different, the ailing leg has grown thin. The difference between legs is shocking,” explains Tamara Harutyunyan. “I don’t think that the doctors have failed in their work during the treatment. I spoke to the doctor, all the medical examinations have been done,” opposed Vahan Poghosyan. Before applying to the Deputy Minister, the citizens concerned about the health condition of Hovhannes Harutyunyan, were in the office of Human Rights Defender. They demanded from the Ombudsman to mediate so that the delegation including doctors and relatives of Hovhannes Harutyunyan can visit him. The relatives also demand urgent surgery. Ombudsman has already turned to the authorities on this issue. To remind, member of “Sasna Dzrer” group Hovhannes Harutyunyan was transferred to the hospital for convicts on July 26 after the shooting near Erebuni police regiment. He is charged with seizure of buildings and illegal possession and carrying of armaments.
