Some roads are closed and difficult to pass
The RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports that as of December 29, 09:30 Berd-Chambarak road is closed due to storm. There is thick fog in Baghramyan, Talin, Maralik and Vayk highways; visibility- 40-50 m. There is black ice on some sections of Baghramyan, Dilijan, Vayk and Goris regions’ roads and Vardenyats mountain pass. These roads are being cleaned with salt and sand. The RA interstate and republican roads are open. The Road Department of Georgian Ministry of Infrastructures and Territorial Development informs the RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies that as of December 29, 10:00, Stepantsminda-Lars is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are urged to drive only with winter tires and use tire chains.
