Tigran Mukuchyan: Election Day is not set by CEC (video)
In its special sitting held on February 7, the Central Election Commission allowed EIC Company to shoot and live stream on a special website the April 2 parliamentary elections [in 1500 polling stations] and tabulation of the results. CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan says a committee comprising government and opposition representatives will decide on the polling stations where shooting will be allowed. Speaking about the appointment of 2 April as the day of parliamentary elections, which the opposition says is contrary to some provisions of the Constitution, Mr Mukuchyan said, “The day is not set by the CEC.”
