“During these elections observers have great influence on prevention of vote rigging in concrete polling stations. But the numbers show that the violations haven’t been fully withdrawn from the polling stations,” says member of the initiative Armen Grigoryan. New methods haven’t changed anything in the polling stations, thinks Levon Barseghyan, Head of “Asparez” journalists’ club, “I will compare all this with the system of water supply, when one tube is repaired, other old tubes go out of order more quickly,” he notes. Members of “Citizen observer” initiative think that the mechanisms of vote rigging haven’t changed, they remained the same. “Even this time the mechanisms of the electoral bribe have got better; the day before they gave carte blanche, naming electoral bribe philanthropy,” added Levon Barseghyan. As of 12:00 “Citizen observer” initiative has registered 681 violations, which are now being checked. In particular, 90 cases of breakdown of en electronic device in the polling stations, 77 cases of open voting, 50 cases of guiding, 27 cases of taking the ballot out or bringing in etc have been registered.
