Weather on May holidays
Gagik Surenyan, Head of the Meteorological Centre of the Hydromet Service of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), on his Facebook page presents the weather during festive days of May. In most of the regions rain and thunderstorm are expected in the afternoon on May 7; hail is possible in different parts. On May 8 and 9 during daytime rain is still expected in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn and Kotayk mountainous zones and Gegharkunik. On May 8 and 9 during daytime sunny weather will prevail in foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, Ararat, Armavir, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Artsakh and Yerevan, only late in the evening in some parts of the abovementioned regions short rain is expected. On May 8-9 air temperature in the whole republic will raise by 3-4 degrees.
