Policemen try to search house of journalist of “Civilnet”
Arpi Makhsudyan, journalist at “Civilnet”, has posted on Facebook: “Early in the morning four policemen came to our house and wanted to search the house without a relevant warrant, as if allegedly they are looking for a criminal and have operative information that the criminal is at our house and we are associated persons. Then when I demanded to leave the house, as they have no right to search the house without a relevant decision, they started shouting that they are to tell, and we are to obey. Respectable policemen tried to take my father-in-law to the police station, accusing us of hindering the operative search early in the morning without permission. They left only after I said that I would call my advocate, but they promised to return. I urged them next time to come with the permission for search. In short, it isn’t nice, Mr. Chief of the Police.”
