Money is rare thing in Azatek (video)
In Azatek village of Vayots Dzor marz there are so many natural reasons for joining the Republican Party of Armenia. For example, a person has been engaged in politics for 15 years. Enters a store, where the seller has a debt list of several million drams. He is also a member of the Republican Party. Everybody owes him- both Republicans and non-partisans. The salesman is truly honest; Azatek village has no future, maybe that’s why the Republican Party of Armenia during the parliamentary elections took the second place. Money is rare thing in Azatek. Exchange of goods is more accepted here. The woman, who boasts of taste of apple of the village, doesn’t even think of selling the apple harvest. Her daughter dreams of becoming a teacher of physical education, but she thinks it will be hard. Lack of money has made Azatek a village without any prospects. The elderly man, who was a member of all the leading parties, can prove it, “Who thinks about the village? Who cares about Azatek, its activities? Nobody.” Azatek is surrounded by future mines, from which gold and uranium will be extracted. Villagers don’t rule out that it will change their life. Watch more in the video!
