On July 26 the audience will be greeted by the mannequins in luxurious clothing in the foyer of Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall and will lead them to “La Boheme” opera by Puccini. It will sum up the concerts of Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. The premiere of “La Boheme” was held last year, but it is a new staging, and the singers will perform in gorgeous clothes by the Tarloyan brothers, fashion designers living in France. According to the words of Eduard Topchyan, Artistic Director and General Director of the Orchestra, as there are also soloists, he decided to use the opportunity and perform a gala concert. Today baritone Gianpiero Ruggeri, soprano Ani Yorents, bass Vazgen Gazaryan, tenors Liparit Avetisyan and Davit Babayants together with the Philharmonic Orchestra will perform arias and duets from operas. “It is a very nice and what’s important a unique project. Arias, scenes, which aren’t performed every day,” says Topchyan, “we have chosen together.” For soprano Ani Yorents, who lives in Germany, performing in the homeland was a great desire, and it is her second visit. “I am thankful to Eduard Topchyan that still last year invited me to participate in “La Boheme”. I am also happy that this year besides “La Boheme” I will participate in Gala concert. The rehearsals passed wonderfully. There is warm atmosphere, as we all are friends, we studied together, then everyone took his way, we perform in different countries and such meetings are very pleasant.” Next concerts will kick off with already traditional international music festival, after which there will be tours to Spain, Germany, Italy, China.
