"Gutan" in Cascade

"Gutan" annual festival of Armenian folk song and dance will create an etnographic song-dance festival for all of us this year. The meeting place is unchanged: on September 28, at 19:00, in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden (Cascade). The festival is being held on the initiative of Arsen Grigoryan, RA Honored Artist, with the support of the RA Ministry of Culture and Yerevan Municipality. "Gutan," Armenian Ethnographic Song and Dance Festival has been implemented since 2014, which is an important initiative for the proper representation of national culture called for the preservation, dissemination and transmission to generations of Armenian folk music, dance and music art. 19 groups of folk song and dance participate in the festival this year: Akunq, Karin, Sasna Tsrer, Van, Veradarc, Masunq, Tarontsiner, Nubar, Gorani, Menk Enk Mer Sarery (Artsakh), Maratuk, Tavros, Zartonk, Ardvin, Vark Hayoc, Vostan, Areg, Msho Havqer/Gavar/, maratukciner. During the festival, films about the activities of the Armenian song and dance benefactors of our past will be screened, valuing their activities and their transferred contribution.
