PRICE OF “BJNI” WENT DOWN

Economy

Another compulsory on-line auction of the rights and rights to assets of the “Bjni” mineral water” company of the Sukiasyan family kicked off today at 1 p.m. The auction scheduled for January 23 was canceled due to lack of buyers.

The price for the double auction is fixed at 4,441,358 drams, which is 492,485,264 drams less than the reserve price set for the auction that didn’t take place. At the time, the reserve price was 4,934,843,264 drams.

The reserve price has gone down according to the demand set in the RA law on “Bargains”.

“If the auction doesn’t take place due to lack of buyers or no addition to the reserve price of the lot, the reserve price of the lot is reduced by 10 percent of the reserve price set for the previous auction,” as stated in the law.

According to press speaker for the Service for Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts Ruben Grdzelyan, the amount demanded is 4,355,972,000 drams. Meanwhile, according to Director General of “Bjni” mineral water factory” CJSC, when the expenses for implementation of the case and taxes for sale of assets are added to the amount demanded, that number comes to 5,096,362,450.9 drams.

Another thing is the company’s real estate, which is put up for auction favoring “ArmEconomBank” JSC and at present the lawsuit filed by “ArmEconomBank” JSC against the company is at the RA Northern Civil Court. Thus, if “ArmEconomBank” JSC makes the payment of 167,807,628, the amount that comes up during the auction must be transferred to the auctioneer.

Let us remind that a couple of days ago, Director General of “Bjni” mineral water factory” CJSC Laert Harutyunyan mediated RA Justice Ministry’s Service for Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts Mihran Poghosyan to terminate the case of “Bjni” based on the fact that the reserve price to be presented at the auction will be lower than the amount demanded.

In such cases, according to the law, the compulsory enforcement officer is obliged to terminate the case and appeal with the demand for bankruptcy.

In any case, the auction has already kicked off and as Ruben Grdzelyan said, it will last until February 16.
