Ara Abrahamyan, the head of the Union of Armenians in Russia is ready to support Heydar Aliev in the Karabakh problem settlement. During the Economic forum being held in New York in February, Ara Abrahamyan informed the president of Azerbayjan that the Karabakh problem settlement is advantegous first of all for Azerbayjan itself. He stated that Aliev paid close attention to his words and promissed to think of them.

Ara Abrahamyan does beleive that Robert Kocharyan and Heydar Aliev are in warm relationship and that the Karabakh knot will be soon undone.
