HOVHANNES TUMANYAN’S LIBRARY MAY BE PUT INTO AUCTION
Support A1+!”If the Armenian Republic doesn’t buy Tumanyan’s house in Tbilisi for 25.000 dollars till the 10th of April, it will be put into auction,” alarms Tumanyan’s granddaughter Irma Safrazbekayan.
To cover its debts Georgian government gave Kutaisi’s machinery 3 libraries in 1998 among which there was Tumanyan’s library. The head of the factory Amiran Lejavan kept the library, but now he wants to sell it because faced car accident and needs big sum for his recoverment.
There is no any reaction on the behalf of our government connected with Irma Safrazbekayan’s alarm call.
