STUDENTS DEMANDING TO RESTORE THEIR RIGHTS

"Restore our violated rights" - this was the demand of students of the humanitarian department in the Armenian State Pedagogical University.

2 years ago the students were promised a 4-year study course in the department. But on the 2nd year there were some rumours occured that the university was to provide only 2 years of study.

The rector issued an order to dissolve the department. One more detail, recently the students are engaged in visiting law-inforcement bodies concerning the deeds of the rector and the former dean of the department.

Soon a board sitting of the Ministry of Education and Science will be held to discuss the issue of the department's survival.
