AMALYAN JUSTIFIES HIMSELF

Today Grigor Amalyan, the head of TV and Radio National Commission announced that everyone may look through projects by "A1+" and "Sharm" TV Companies if like.

Only after as Mr. Amalyan thinks everyone will become aware of the truth about the way the competition had been carried out. How the Armenian president being out of Armenia, i.e., in Middle East, had looked through the both companies projects before they were made public?.

Mr. Amalyan noted:" Just after the competition when journalists asked me "Why did "Sharm" win a victory and not "A1+" TV?" I said that suggestion by "Sharm" was potent". Grigor Amalyan said that the president might have been out of the country in the competition days but he might have been well-informed of it.

Mr. Amalyan also replied to some accusations upon the Commission and referring to the Law. As he thinks the Commission didn't cease "A1+" TV Company. The Commission informed Communication Ministry Licence Body that "A1+" TV doesn't possess licence any more and the Communication Ministry could not render services "A1+" TV Company which had transformer in its area. He also said it is not marked in the law that the channel having been broadcasted on the former frequency may be broadcasted extra 10 days if sustains a defeat in a competition.

If loosing the case the Commission will indemnify for "A1+" TV loss occured while TV Channel banning from broadcasting. He also noted that the Commission was not accused any more of being impartial or performing a political order because as Mr. Amalyan said "Everybody knows that the day will come when the Commission will have to make public the projects by both companies even not having the agreement by "MelTex" LTD."Grigor Amalyan expressed a standpoint on both companies' projects comparative representation in "A1+" Internet site:" You know, the truble is that you don't represent exactly what is written in your suggestion".Mr. Amalyan represented the biggest acheivement of the frequencies competition." For the first time producing companies and programs took part in our competition. It is important and it is to be proud of. There's no need to say that "Sharm" TV doesn't exist or a TV Company like that is on paper only. I think you will regard "Sharm" TV as one to have produced programs as well",- he noted.

By the way when Commission head reminded about the film "Our yard" produced by "Sharm" TV he said "Tastes differ!".
