ALBERT BAZEYAN'S AND ARAM SARGSYAN'S STANDPOINTS ON STATEMENT BY 17 MASS MEDIA

"The nowadays' situation reminds of the totalitar system in the years of Soviet Union when only the high-rankers' opinions were used to be taken into consideration while making any decision",- today announced Albert Bazeyan, the chairman of Republic party political committee. He expressed this standpoint on the statement made by 17 Mass Media a day before.

Parliament deputy Stepan Zakaryan noticed the journalists not to accuse parties of venality and dissociation any more. " You - the journalists got disconnected, didn't express professional solidarity and you were regarded as authority adherents and as oppositive ones. It's the next field to be disconnected and it's a result of the Authorities manner of ruling",- thought the conference participants.

"The responsible person for all the events in the country is the president possessing the Superior power",- announced Albert Bazeyan.

Recently the president has made a statement if the people having put their signatures under the demands represented to him were aware of the Constitution they would understand that satisfying the demands is above his power.

Today Aram Sargsyan, the head of Republic party reminded the president about his plenary powers to take the initiative and hold Parliament out-of-turn session." When he was speaking about 3 demands he was to be reminded that 6 ones had been represented to him".

"We are to political dialoge but nowadays it became impossible to organize such a discussion in our field of information because almost all Mass Media perform orders by their "Master". But the "Masters" are changed, isn't it?. If the "Masters" are changed the votes are changed, too",-said Aram Sargsyan.

Finishing his speech Aram Sargsyan said:" We don't fight for your Freedom of Speech, Dear Mister Editors of Authorities Adherent Mass Media, but for the rights of civic sociaty".
