TRIAL ON A1+ TV CASE BEGAN
Support A1+!Today the Economic Court at last began studying "A1+" TV claim against TV and Radio National Commission. During the first 10 minutes of the trial judge Nakhshun Tavaratsyan ignored 2 solicitations by "A1+" TV which were for "A1+" TV Channel restoring before the trial.
What is for the claim "A1+" TV Company representatives substantiated TV and Radio National Commission had carried out the frequencies competition by infringing many clauses of the Law on TV and Radio as well evading its own Law Code.
According to the Law the Commission was to announce a competition for the frequency range 2 months before the licence deadline but the Commission prefered to refuse to utter a word concerning "A1+" TV.
TV Company licence deadline was up on 22nd the January, 2002, the competition was to announced in November. The Commission representative Edith Khachaturyan didn't deny the infringements made by the Commission. She tried to find fault with the allegation as if "A1+" TV had been badly preparation for the competition. She doesn't understand which one of "A1+" TV rights had been infringed through breaking competitions terms. As "A1+" TV Company representatived noted the Armenian Edith Khachatryan of Iran couldn't understand that the Law on TV and Radio was infringed.
The Commission was to announce one joint competition on all the free frequency ranges instead of carrying out separate competitions. According to "A1+" TV claim transmitters' power and the fact of having staff were to be considered when setting payments for licences / "Sharm" TV has no staff yet /.
