RATS RUN AWAY FROM THE PARLIAMENT

Social

"While we are making speeches in the meeting, the deputies run away from Parliament",- on the Freedom Square announced Ashot Manucharyan, the member of political commitee of "Socialistic Armenia" Union. "Republic" party member Suren Surenyants joined him calling to begin marching immediately and added:"The animals that run away are called rats. Let's go and count how many rats there are in the Parliament".

The march participants moved from Freedom Square to Parliament building through spelling "Ro-bert! Leave your post!". Policemen were "waiting" for the participants at all the entrances of Parliament building. Splitting the files of policemen the deputies who came out of the building promissed to gather signatures for the president's impeachment. But it wasn't possible to gather signatures today. It was unfeasible to collect the needed 44 signatures because of deputies' absence - the majority of them had left the Parliament building.

The meeting initiators promissed to meet again on the Freedom Square the following day at 15.00 and to demand for the president's resignation at the Parliament building.
