THE MUNICIPALITY ANSWER - TRAMS CAN MAKE NO PROFIT
Support A1+!Trams can make no profit. Municipality answered so the calculation by Yerevan "Electric transport" OJSC employees. According to that if tram tariff / 40 drams / is reduced by 20 drams then it will be possible to get profit of 100 mln. annually instead of 62.mln. represented.
The Municipality Transport Department head announced that the calculation had been made in an amateurish manner, with an arithmetical inaccuracy and there're no signatures under the calculation. Let's remind that exploitation of trams NN 1-st and 2-nd had been stopped since December the 1-st 2001 as a kind of transport that makes no profit.
