STEPAN ZAKARYAN:"THE TERRORISTS HAVE BEEN TROWN"
Support A1+!Today only deputy Stepan Zakarayan, one of the 8 victims, has appeared before the First Instance Court of Centre, Nork, Marash Communities.
The deputy announced that on October the 27-th in 1999 when the terrorists rushed into the Parliament Hall it seemed to them they were attacked over 4 sides and didn't understand what was going on. "We didn't know how many people there were - 5 or there were other ones outside?",- says the deputy.
He is sure that there are people and certain powers patronizing the terrorists."I think they were just "thrown", they were promissed to be supported but were lied to",- says Zakaryan.
As the deputy thinks, the terrorists' behavior indicated of that. At first they were too aggressive and self-assured, then became "more philanthropic and kind", even respectful. They were trying to argue that they hadn't killed the Parliament Speaker and Vice-Speakers.
Stepan Zakaryan said that while lying he understood Vazgen Sargsyan was killed through the exclamations and curses by the terrorists. The deputies haven't known about Karen Demirchyan's and Yuri Bakhshyan's murder for a long time and thought them to be injured.
The deputy had an impression as if the whole "Union" party was to be shot down as the others were told:"You needn't be afraid!."
The deputy told that they had been ordered to stand at the doors as alive shelds if any attempt to burst into the Hall was made. Andranik Margaryan had been as "a shield " for Nairi and Karen Hunanyans.
"What would happen if you refused to stand at the doors?",- asked the Prosecutor. Stepan Zakaryan said: "All the time we were looking at our friends killed and approached the doors passing by their bodies".
By the way, he remembered that the deputies had been surprised at Karen Hunanyan while he was firing sub-machine-gun with one hand.
