IS THE TENDER BY MELTEX LTD CONSIDERED TO BE GRANTED?

Social

TV and Radio National Commission has never refused “MelTex” LTD’ tender for licensing. Today consumer Ashot Bleyan informed about it the First Instance Court of Central-Nork-Marash communities. According to his words, on April the 2-nd the Court didn’t make such a decision. As Bleyan thinks, after not having received the decision on refusal within 40 days, the tender by “MelTex” LTD is considered to be granted, according to the Armenian Law on License / article 29-th, plank 2-nd / . A person appealing to “A1+” has the right to broadcast his programs irrespective of having the license or not .

, Bleyan informs through the petition to the Court: “From the 3-rd of April / 2002 / the inalienable constitutional right of expression by thousands of consumers of “A1+” , including me, was violated”. Bleyan explains his petition by that the 37-th frequency range is vacant up to now and “the licensing for broadcasting of TV programs doesn’t serve the aim, provided by Law – that is – defense of consumers’ rights” / the Armenian Law on License, article 5-th, plank 1-st /.

Today Bleyan solicited the Judge of First Instance Court to recognize his right of freedom to get the information through “A1+” and re-establish the situation that had been before the right was violated.
