GAGIK DIDN'T UNDERSTAND GAGIK

Social

Today Parliament deputy Gagik Kostandyan was examined in the First Instance Court of Center-Nork-Marash communities. On the 27-th of October, 1999, when the terrorists rushed in the Parliament Hall, it seemed to him they were Azeri paratroopers and were going to occupy the Parliament building. He saw Prime-Minister Vazgen Sargsyan to be shot down.

Kostandyan's testimony surprised many people today. As he thinks, only Vazgen Sargsyan was killed on purpose, Karen Demirchyan and others were killed by chance. He asserts there was shooting in the Parliament Hall at first and he asked not to shoot. But he was reminded that according to the preliminary investigation, there was no shooting at first and there was no shooting on the record, either.

Mr. Kostandyan said he had much information but wouldn't say as his house was put on fire when he tried to say anything. When the Prosecutor Gagik Avetisyan demanded to make public the information Kostandyan possessed, he opposed and insulted the Prosecutor. Then the quarrel was relieved.
