ARMEN KHACHATRYAN IS EXTREMELY BUSY

Member of Armenian National Assembly, Gagik Melikyan, testified today at the hearing on the October 27 terrorist action case. The group of the terrorists pursued a goal of the Prime Minister, Speaker and Vice Speaker assassination. Melikyan also heard Nairi Hunanyan called somebody by phone. “I’ve killed both of them”, the witness quoted him as saying. MP doesn’t rule out that the crime was masterminded.

Also former Minister of Public Health, Hayk Nikoghosyan, gave testimony at today’s trial. He says terrorists didn’t permit wounded Andranik Manukyan to leave the session room. He also says only one of the criminals regretted about committed crime – it was Edik Grigoryan. Other terrorists remained unrepentant.

Speaker of the Parliament Armen Khachatryan was expected to appear before the court today. However, he was too busy to come to court.
