"ABOVYAN" TV COMPANY FOUNDER DISAPPEARED
Support A1+!Violence acts to "Abovyan" TV Company continue . Today Mass Media representatives discussed the TV Company problems and the possible support to the solution in the Journalists' House. Mass Media worry about the fact the TV Company doesn't broadcast and the head is pursued by unknown people.
Yesterday Azniv Chzmachyan, "Abovyan" TV Company head phoned Astghik Gevorgyan, the Chair of Journalists' Union and said she was in a cover and in a bad state . The building she was in was surrounded by strong men. Both TV Company founder and she were afraid of going out of the cover. Chzmachyan asked Gevorgyan to take steps for that purpose.
A few hours ago Chzmechyan called Yerevan Press Club and said they hadn't known where Artashes Mehrabyan, the founder of the TV Company was since morning. He had phoned from somewhere and asked to stop TV Company works .
As long ago as on September 2 the employees applied to both Armenian president and Public Prosecutor for the events on TV Company but haven't been answered till now .
Abovyan Internal Affairs Department says no application on Artashes Mehrabyan's kidnapping was received . And the criminal case on the violence acts to the TV Company employees is before the First Instance Court of Avan and Nor Nork Communes.
