RELIEF TO THOSE SUFFERED FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Support A1+!USA decided to render assistance to the Armenians who suffered and still suffer from domestic violence. For that purpose USA Agency of International Development allocated 476. 367 $ to Armenia. But the sum was given to 6 social organisations and not the state.
The organisations envisaged to place refuge at disposal of sufferers from domestic violence, to render consulting and other services. Sometimes control of cases, training of judges and advocates will be carried out. The public will be informed about how to use the alternative ways for problem solution when conflict without violence.
All the above programs will be implemented by “Armenia’s Motherhood Fund”, “Helsinki Association”, “Centre for Women’ Rights”, “Associate”, “Martuni Women’ Commune Council” and “Armenian Caritas” which work for foreign grants.
