IN THE NAME OF GRANT
Support A1+!There are 2000 social organisations, functioning in Armenia at present.
But majority of them is displeased with their work. Since those organisations put the emphasis on gaining foreign grants, it is supposed that social organisations in Armenia are not satisfied with the volume of overseas grants .
Problems of social organisations, future trends for collaboration with each other will be discussed at ”Social organisations 2002” 3-day-long conference and exhibition.
Even a contest for taking part in the conference was conducted among the organisations. As a result, representatives of 328 organisations from all the regions of Armenia take part in the conference.
The president and PM of the country greeted conference participants through their representatives. The president even expressed confidence in his message Authorities will find new partners in person of conference participants .
Besides the conference, an exhibition was arranged in the territory of Karen Demirchyan’s Centre by funding of USA’ Agency of International Development. Both activity and culture of social organisations of regions will be displayed through it.
