BOJOLYAN'S TRIAL CONTINUES

Social

“Ex-president Levon Ter-Ptrossyan didn’t run for presidency. Then, why an earth you continue this farce?”, Murad Bojolyan’s attorney Arsenyan said at today’s hearing hinting at the fact that Murad Bojolyan, accused of treason and spying for Turkey intelligence agencies, was presidential adviser and interpreter while Ter-Ptrossyan was in office and played important role in Armenian-Turkish relationship.

“The case against Bojolyan is rather political than criminal”, the lawyer said. The defendant, in turn, said he had never suppressed that he shared Ter-Petrossyan’s view on Armenian-Turkish relationship.

“Some political forces, opposed to ex-president’s ideology, fabricated case against me”, he said adding that so far prosecution presented no evidence of his guilt.
