EDIK BAGHDASARYAN: OFFICIALS DON'T LIKE US
Support A1+!After summarising results of the competition held by “Internews” public organisation, Edik Baghdasaryan’s “Trace: Second Program” was recognised the best film in “TV journalistic Investigation” nomination.
“Fortuna” TV Company, broadcasting in Armenian town of Stepanavan, was given an award for the film preview.
A1+ TV Company could get the award. The thing is that the channel scheduled to show the film on April 4, and on April 2 it was stripped of broadcasting.
Edik Baghdasaryan says he offer his film to Public Television, “Armenia” and “Prometevs” channels, but they all refused to show it.
“It is too hard to conduct journalistic investigation because officials as well as TV companies don’t like us”, he says.
