“RADIO ALFA” AGAINST “RADIO ALFA”
Support A1+!On September 12 TV and Radio National Committee discussed the tender proposal of “Radio Alfa”, the only claimant to radio program broadcasting licence on 104,9 MHz frequency in Yerevan territory. Before the licence expiry the company used to broadcast its programs on the same frequency range.
Under the tender package, the programs of the radio company are of information, education, entertaining and musical character. Own programs will make 30 of the daily volume, the musical ones 45 of the finance sources of the company, 15 .
In 2003-2010 the company is ready to make investments of 15 million drams for technical service and program development. As the Company Head Levon Abrahamyan informed, their co-operation with “Russkoye Radio” may continue, but they may re-broadcast the programs of another radio station, too.
TV and Radio National Committee will make public the decision on September 16.
