PROTEST ACTION AT THE GOVERNMENT’ BUILDING

Social

The wives and mothers of the perished fighters of Artsakh War have today held a protest action near the Government’ building.

The reason was that the Government members had informed the protestors they would discuss the problems of the dead fighters’ families, the protestants said. But after the sitting some of the Ministers “ran away by the back door”, others refused to answer their questions as if they didn’t know what the matter was about.

The women demanded for improvement of their social conditions. According to Gayane Sahakyan, director of “Centre on the Rights for the Families of Perished Fighters”, the women are ready to carry it through, up to the sit-in and hunger-strike.
