ACTIVITY OF TV AND RADIO COMMITTEE UNDER DISCUSSION
Support A1+!The social board, established by the initiative of Press National Club, has today held a sitting, which will study the tender proposals of the Companies for July tender by TV and Radio National Committee. There are 9 members in the board from Parliament’ parties, experts, advocates.
It is to remind that “Yerevan”, “ArmenAkob”, “TV-5” TV Companies were preferred to “A1+” and “CNN” and “Ev” to “Noyan Tapan” in that tender.
PNC expert Narine Dilbaryan and PNC member Vardan Vardanyan today handed the experts the copies of the tender proposals of the above companies.
Expert Grisha Hovhannissyan, the member of the Advocates’ Union of Armenia, demanded for the reasons to reject “A1+” and was surprised when told that there’s nothing like that.
”There is only the decision of TV and Radio National Committee. The Committee doesn’t let the TV Company know the decision substantiations despite the law and the numerous applications of the TV Company”, PNC member Vardan Vardanyan says.
The social board will again assemble on November 15 and will vote. The board members will work separately. According to Narine Dilbaryan, exclusion of joint work will provide maximal impartiality .
