DEFENDANT IN TIGRAN NAGHDALYAN MURDER TRIAL COMES UP WITH MOTION

Armen Sargssyan indicted for masterminding Tigran Naghdalyan assassination made a personal plea to the judge at today’s hearing to return lawyer Robert Grigoryan to the proceedings as defense attorney.

The latter has been defendant Sargssyan’s attorney up to October 3. Then, the defendant rejected his services. Armen Sargssyan say he wants Grigoryan to resume his suspended duties as his second attorney because the lawyer is familiar with the case and there will be no need in postponing the trial.

However, the motion was objected by the prosecution side and the court unable to make immediate decision announced a break in trial until October 20.
