DEFENDANT EDIK GRIGORYAN SPEAKING AT OCTOBER 27 TERRORIST ACTION TRIAL

The October 27 terrorist action trial continued after a short break. Edik Grigoryan accused of orchestrating and perpetrating the crime denied both charges saying only one man, not two can be a crime mastermind.

“An idea of terrorist action can be conceived in one person’s mind only. This one person is Nairi Hunanyan”, he said. Groigoryan also denied the accusation of involving Derenik Bejanyan into the crime.

Pleading not guilty on the second count of indictment, he said the only his function on the scene was “to prevent numbers of killed from growing”.

The defendant ruled out any possibility of other persons’ involvement in orchestrating the crime. “I’m not a mercenary”, he also said.
