AT TIGRAN NAGHDALYAN’S MURDER TRIAL
Support A1+!Defendant Lyova Harutyunyan said at Tigran Naghdalyan murder trial today’s hearing he has never ordered by Armen Sargssyan to kill Naghdalyan.
The accused Armen Sargssyan said that his codefendant Hovhannes Harutyunyan (known as Aper ) decided to reveal the truth before the court, but was barred from doing that.
“Aper announced he is ready to testify but said records remained in jail sell and he will bring them to the courtroom tomorrow”, reminded Armen Sargssyan. On the next day, Aper remained willing to testify, but his attorney Hoktember Karamyan said he felt not well, asked for a short break, managed to call investigator Hektor Sardaryan by phone and informed the latter that his client is ready “to split on somebody to the court”. After the break Aper appeared before the court with broken lip. Another break was announced. But he managed to tell his codefendants about his determination to reveal the truth.
Interrupting himself Armen Sargssyan asked defendant Gegham Shahbazyan “is it truth” and was answered “yes”.
Arsmen Sargssyan said “Aper read up written testimony prepared by him for tomorrow hearing to the boys” and them, in turn, have told him about its content that has never been read in the courtroom.
The next day, Aper’s wife appeared before the court thanks to prosecutor Zelim Tadevossyan’s efforts, and gave some testimony, in fact, preventing her husband from giving testimony. Aper changed his mind after that.
While Sargssyan was speaking, Aper sat in the dock with his head down without any objection.
