AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW ON ECOLOGY

The reason for this and other unsolved problems are the imperfect Laws regarding ecology sphere”, Boris Ghazaryan, Chair of “State Ecological Expertise” organization of Armenian Ecology Ministry announced at the discussion in “Armenia” Hotel.
The state structures and the social organizations of Armenia discussed the new bill on the conception of the Law on State Ecological Expertise.
According to Ghazaryan, the task of the ecological expertise is prevention of any activity negatively influencing on the environment. ”Working of this bill also aims to guarantee the right of the citizens of Armenia to have favorable surroundings”, he says.
”This bill was elaborated by support of the Armenian branch of Transparence International Centre under the auspices of Great Britain Government, and their positive impact on the bill will be notable”, Mr Ghazaryan said.
