ZVARTNOTS IS “CLEANSED”
Support A1+!On November 30 the leadership of “Zvartnots” Airport discharged more 24 employees. All those dismissed used to work in conveyance service. According to service employee Erjo Azroyan, they were informed by the personnel department on November 30 the Airport would no longer conclude a contract with them.
He said the personnel department didn’t comment on the decision. Accounting clerk Ann Hunanyan sent this discharge notification: ”We work in a capitalistic country. The Argentineans don’t tell us why they don’t introduce the contract”.
That’s why the personnel department can’t tell them why the contract is not prolonged. Ann Vardanyan with 15-year-old working experience assured that non-specialists work in Airport. ”Ask whoever you wish why a passenger is registered. No one can answer that question”, Mrs Vardanyan described her working colleagues.
Airport press secretary Gevorg Abrahamyan informed the fact that a new contract wasn’t made with the above 24 doesn’t yet mean staff cut since new people were taken for job instead.
Why those 24 employees weren’t beforehand informed that they wouldn’t work any more. ”The contract they have signed doesn’t provide notification in advance. Moreover, there’s a point saying employees can be discharged anytime if they don’t work well. But no one has dismissed them. Just a new contract wasn’t made”, press secretary explained.
