CONSUMPTIVES INCREASE
Support A1+!Health Ministry has today introduced Government the project on “National Fight against Tuberculosis”, which aims to find the ill, to treat them and to protect the population against the disease expansion. The experts of World Health Organization and other international organizations have jointly elaborated the program.
According to Health Deputy Minister Hayk Darbinyan, the program execution is too necessary as the disease grows progressively worse all over the world. The number of consumptives has risen thrice in Armenia.
”Unfortunately, we face mortality increase simultaneously with disease progress. 3 out of 100.000 have died in recent years whereas now about 5”, Deputy Minister says.
Mr Darbinyan assures that the program will fully be implemented since both some international organizations and those working the program are going to make great investments. The International Committee of Red Cross, Japanese and German Governments have made huge investments for the problem solution.
