“AMBION” WEEKLY DENIED PRINTING
Support A1+!Today, “Ambion” weekly newspaper failed to be issued. This is not the first time the printing house “Gind” has refused to print “Ambion”.
The newspaper’s editor-in-chief and National Press Club Chair Narine Mkrtchyan convened a news conference today where accused the printing house director Karen Avetisyan of “committing terror against the newspaper and its staff”.
In an interview with our correspondent, Karen Avetisyan justified the refusal saying the newspaper has always got in the printing office with delay and, besides, Narine Mkrtchyan is insolvent – her debt for printing her “Ayzm” newspaper makes 80,000 drams and for “Ambion” - 200,000 drams.
Narine Mkrtchyan persists in saying she promised to pay all debts by December 25. In her opinion, Avetisyan is following authorities’ instructions.
Karen Avetisyan says the newspaper is to be issued as soon as the dept is paid. Mkrtchyan, in turn, says “Ambion” will be given another printing house and it is to be released tomorrow.
