Tender proposals of the companies aspiring to 56 UHF were opened today. Three of four contesting companies – A1+, Noyan Tapan and Avetis – were stripped of broadcasting license as a result of a tender held on April 2, 2002.

Presenting their proposal, “Avetis” company’s representatives promised 83 of which will make its own production. “Avetis” intends to spend 6 million USD for 7-year period.

“Erkir-Media” company’s representatives said the amount of their investments made 265 million USD. They said the company would invest additional 6, 96 million USD, however, mentioned those sources from which only 3 million is expected.

They also stressed that choosing staff the company administration won’t take into account political stance of job aspirants. According to its tender proposal, “Erkir-Media” intends to air 60 and by 2010 to 85 of that amount will be spent for purchasing equipment and 40 of the company broadcasting, 25 of the company’s air.

Results of the tender are to be announced on December 29.
