ARSENYAN CASE DISMISSED
Support A1+!The case against Hovik Arsenyan, the attorney of the suspect in Tigran Naghdalyan murder trial Armen Sargssyan, was dismissed.
Hovik Arsenyan has lost the court favour yet at the beginning stage of the hearings, when he was accused of communicating with co-defendant Gegham Shahbazyan right in the courtroom and putting pressure on the latter in an attempt to make him refrain from any statements against Sargssyan.
Gegham Shahbazyan’s lawyer grounding on information heard from the state-owned TV channel H1, accused Hovik Arsenyan of misleading his client and made a plea to the judge to suspend him from the legal proceeding.
After that, the out-of favour lawyer was charged with using fake license. The charge was based on allegation published in Hayots Ashkhar newspaper.
Today, when Tigran Naghdalyan murder trial is over, the case against Arsenyan was closed. It is remarkable that the case has been dismissed because of “change of situation”.
