MELGONEAN EDUCATION CENTER SEEKING SUPPORT

The board of Armenian General Benevolent Union has decided to close Melgonean education center in Cyprus in June of 2005, explaining its decision by saying the center’s mission aim is not justified in today’s Armenia.

The union of the center’s graduates addressed all Armenians with a call to bar the AGBU from putting its decision into reality. Although the AGBU denies financial ground of the decision, the graduates are convinced “financial deficit” played a key role in making decision.

Today 206 Armenians from the Diaspora attend the center.
