After the rally yesterday a few tens of people were taken in detention.

Under the information we possess, minors were taken to police department, too, who were fined large sums and then were released.

Justice Ministry Press Secretary Ara Saghatelyan informed us: ”Under the 12th article of the Code on Administrative Law Breaking people who are 16 at the moment of infringing law will be administratively punished. Minors are not brought to administrative amenability”.

So, fines were illegal and the relatives of the minors can and are obliged to appeal to Office of Prosecutor and to institute criminal cases against a certain policemen or an investigator.

23-year-old Tigran Eghiazaryan, the son of Lyova Eghiazaryan, “Republic“ Party political board member, was taken into custody, too. He will be in detention for 15 days.

At 6:30 PM the number of the arrested increased by 20.
